FUT Draft | FIFA 16

EA announced a new game mode which is already tested by two friends (named Carragher & Neville). A short video was uploaded in which you could see the beta (not final) version of the game mode. It seemed very cool, because you are free to make a lot of choices.

How does this game mode work?

When you first start the game mode, you need to decide which formation you want to play. Thereafter, you need to pick a player who will be your captain. You could choose between top-class players like Lionel Messi, Agüero and so on. After you have made that decision, you get an empty squad which needs to be filled. Every time, you select a position, five randomly selected players pop up. For every position, you need to choose one of them. Eventually, you get a filled squad which consists of all the players you picked. You are free to use the players you like and only the bench will be filled with players chosen by EA. The only thing you need to keep in mind, is the chemistry. If you select players from different countries and leagues, the squad’s chemistry will be really bad. If you are lucky, you can get a really good bench including players that are all from the same league or country so you can change your squad a bit, so it will fit a bit better.

I can’t tell anything about the gameplay yet, because the video (which is embedded below) only showed the way you could make a squad. I am really hoping that EA will give us a FIFA 16 demo soon, so we are able to review this game mode by ourselves. I hope that the players you choose are randomly selected by EA filters, because otherwise you could play with the same squad every single time. Let us know in the comments what you think of this game mode.
